I’m currently working on a tracing project which finds those who have left New Zealand to work overseas leaving forgotten funds held by institutions who cannot trace them. This is a large ongoing project.

Family Reunion

My client gave me the task of tracking down their family scattered all over the world to facilitate a family reunion and I was delighted to be able to assist.

This type of research crosses over from raw genealogy research which tends to focus on the past to using investigative techniques to track down and contact those in the present.

I am sent audio at the end of their business day and I have it ready for their Audio and Vision Department when they sit down to work the next morning taking advantage of the different time zones.

A simple sub domain reduces costs for this client for another branch of their business namely the Coast Road Market. Using WordPress for this website, as for their main site, means it is easily maintained by the client on their own after a couple of hours of training.

Adorn Tribal Art

Adorn Tribal Art sells unusual one-off pieces which tend to be bulky and non-standard to ship. For this reason a shopping cart was not going to suit this customer as quotations for each shipment need to be calculated. I decided to use WordPress and “post” each new item, categorizing them and thus giving the customer a simple way to manage their site.

I’m pleased and excited to be taking work from Serious Pictures assisting with providing timestamped transcripts for one of their latest pieces of work. I receive the movie files in MP4 format and provide accurate verbatim scripts for use in their editing.

Coast Road Retreat

Work on the website for the Coast Road Retreat in Seacliff is coming along nicely. Check out the fabulous photography now added to the site taken by professional photographer Ewen Livingstone at Open2view. Two movies give the prospective guests the ability to really appreciate and explore the inside space of the retreat.

Genealogy Research

An American client wanted to research his family tree and I was able to discover and document his family tree back to a birth in England in 1745 after only a couple of hours work and some basic family information.

The tree now sits ready for further work by the client on the Ancestry online website which holds genealogy, family trees and family history records online.

This Australian client required internet searching to compile a list of sales leads for their new product.

As an established wholesaler of a number of baby related products in Australia they wanted to get contact details for stores that they could market to.

Market Competition Research

This New Zealand client required a clear overview of potential competitors for a new online retail shop they were developing specialised in offering unique products for dogs and their owners. I was able to give a comprehensive data sheet of the pertinent information.

Further to this work I was then engaged to research other possible developments for the proposed website including a world calendar of doggie events for the client.
